Plan Your Visit
We’d love to meet you! We are a growing multigenerational church united by a mission: to discover the joy of belonging to Jesus with resurrection life, and help others do the same.
We worship every Sunday at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium of Apex Middle School, 400 East Moore Street, Apex. You are invited to park in the lot directly in front of the auditorium and walk in through the building’s main entrance. One of our greeters will welcome you in the auditorium lobby.
Our service follows a consistent weekly order and includes worship in song, prayers, Scripture reading, a sermon, the Lord’s Supper (communion), and a benediction (parting blessing).
An on-site nursery is available for pre-kindergarten children, from 9:50 a.m. through the duration of the worship service. All nursery workers have been background-checked, trained, and approved by the elder board. (See our Minor Protection Policy here).

What does a typical worship service look like?
Our worship and sermons are based on Scripture, using both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. Worship typically lasts about 90 minutes, and includes singing, praying, and reflecting on God’s Word together through readings and a sermon. We try to blend together the best of the past with the best of the present. The preaching of God’s Word is central to our service because we believe that the Spirit uses God’s Word to transform our lives! We also celebrate the Lord’s Supper weekly, a meal to which we invite all baptized believers who are a part of a church that proclaims the Good News of Jesus to participate.
We believe church community is important and should extend beyond attending a weekly worship service. We strive to foster authentic relationships that encourage and mature our faith and demonstrate the love of Christ to others.
Why does ResLife take communion every Sunday?
Because we get to! That may sound trite, but it’s true. What a privilege it is to hear the gospel and then taste the goodness of it each week. The Lord’s Supper is a “tangible sermon” that communicates our union with Christ and with one another in Him.
We invite those who will participate in communion to walk to the front to receive the bread and the cup and to return to their seats before partaking together as a body. If you are not a believer, do not be ashamed for being present, but please use this time to reflect and consider Christ’s call on your own life — we would love to talk further and answer any questions.
How do I join a small group (LiFE Group)?
Our LiFE Groups are small gatherings that meet in area homes twice a month. These gatherings help develop meaningful, Christ-centered community through prayer, Bible study, discussion, and fun together. LiFE Groups are an accessible, non-threatening entry point to the ResLife church family. They are designed to engage our neighbors and networks so that others may also experience Jesus’ love along with us. To learn more, click here.
What denomination is ResLife in?
Resurrection Life Church is a member congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Our beliefs affirm the authority of the Bible as God’s written revelation to humanity, and reflect historic Christianity consistent with the teachings of the Protestant Reformation.
So where do I begin?
Ultimately, your journey begins with faith in Jesus Christ, God’s Son and our Lord and Savior. We are here to help you discover the joy of belonging to Christ with resurrection life.
All of us were created to be like God — to be His “image-bearers” — but we have all gone astray, seeking to be gods ourselves and failing to love God and others as we ought. This is what the Bible calls “sin.” As a result, the world is full of death and hate, and we all stand under God’s just condemnation.
But in love, God sent His Son Jesus into the world as a man, to pay the penalty for our rebellion against God. Jesus was resurrected from death bodily, demonstrating that God accepted His sacrifice in place of sinners. He ascended to heaven, and is present spiritually with those who trust in Him for salvation and await His physical return, when He will judge all people and bring believers into a renewed cosmos.
Knowing Jesus Christ through a personal, Biblical faith restores us to do what God originally created us to do: glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
We believe the Bible is God’s authoritative Word that teaches us how to live and gives us a true and living hope.
