PastorMark is married to Heather and dad to Mark, Deacon, Ava, Clay and Lily. He grew up in Ontario, Canada; Heather is from Durham, North Carolina. They married in 2004, and in 2006 Mark graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary. After pastoring in Canada, the Knetsches moved to North Carolina in 2013 to plant a new, vibrant faith community.
In October 2014 Mark was called as the church-planting pastor of Resurrection Life Church. His life goal is to help people discover the joy of belonging to Jesus with resurrection life — through the ups, downs, adventures, challenges and even suffering we all walk through.
Mark loves time with his family, baseball, music, sports and home remodeling.

Anna Knowles
Church AdministratorAnna grew up in South Florida and headed north to Grove City College in Pennsylvania, where she met her husband Jonathan. They married in 2013 and have five daughters: Selah, Lily, Ruthie, Miriam and Abigail. Trained as a Physician Assistant, Anna worked in the field for ten years before staying home with the birth of their fourth child; she now homeschools and is thankful for every day with the girls.
The Knowleses moved to central North Carolina in 2013 and joined a PCA church in Raleigh. In 2016 that church commissioned them to transfer their membership to ResLife and support the church plant. Anna joined the ResLife staff as Church Administrator in 2024.
Anna and her family live in Apex. She loves reading, baking, travel, book clubs, the outdoors and time with friends and family.
