Mark Knetsch

Lead Pastor

Mark Knetsch is married to Heather and is father to Mark, Deacon, Ava, Clay, and Lily. Mark comes from Ontario Canada while Heather hails originally from Durham, North Carolina. They married in 2004, and in 2006 Mark graduated from Calvin Theological Seminary.  After spending time pastoring in Canada, the Knetsch family moved to North Carolina to seek out God’s calling to plant a new, vibrant, faith community.

Since October 2014, Resurrection Life started to meet with folks ready and willing to see this church come to life. God’s faithfulness has permeated the church planting journey expressed by His continual provision and sending incredible partners in this Gospel endeavor. Mark considers serving ResLife as a joy, and seeks to link arms to fulfill our mission:

We are captivated by the King, so our mission is to make disciples who discover the joy of belonging to Jesus.

This mission statement captures much of Mark’s own personal desire to see people grow in joy within the ups, downs, adventures, challenges, and even suffering we all experience in life.

Mark loves to spend time with family. He appreciates many different hobbies involving activities like baseball, music, sports, and remodeling his home.
